Sustainable business: Fresh Air Forests, a new emissions offset business, has launched in the Hawkes Bay. For each tonne of emissions, Fresh Air Forests plant enough native trees to offset, or neutralise, your impact.
Buyers get a certificate of purchase, tree plot coordinates and updates on their selected site as it grows. "We choose our sites carefully, working closely with landowners, iwi, schools and local authorities to create a long-term ecological heritage for a whole community to enjoy," says director Colin Pirie.
