Two tahini products are being recalled after being found to contain potentially harmful substances.
Cooks Food Group is recalling Sahara Tahini 350 gram and Olive Grove Tahini 200g batches due to listeria monocytogenes contamination.
Tahini is a paste made from sesame seeds.
The company said there had been no reports of illness but anyone concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
It said the product was sold in supermarkets nationwide and were the only Olive Grove and Sahara products affected.
The products should be returned to the retailer for a full refund or by calling 0800 867 776.
B & B Marketing is recalling Surgical Basics small and large Hot/Cold Packs and SOFT R&R Hot/Cold Packs after consultation with Medsafe.
B & B said the packs contained the toxic substance ethylene glycol which if ingested could be harmful. Anyone doing so should seek urgent medical advice.
Consumers should contact B & B on (09) 420 4242 for a refund.
