Fog that disrupted flights from Wellington Airport this morning has lifted and delayed travellers are starting to leave the capital.
Airport duty manager Mark Spittle said the fog lifted at about 11am.
Only domestic flights were affected by the low-lying fog, and the airport was working to clear the backlog.
"It should be cleared by the end of the day," Mr Spittle said.
Fog has been an ongoing problem this year for the airport, with thousands of passengers being affected by delays.
