Fog disrupts Hamilton flights

Heavy fog prevented planes using Hamilton Airport early today.

Flights from Wellington and Nelson were cancelled and an Air New Zealand service from Christchurch was expected to be delayed 30 minutes, arriving at 10.30am.

Flights to Auckland, Palmerston North, Wellington and Christchurch were waiting to take off once the fog cleared.

Two flights to Wellington, due to take off at 8.45am and 9.45am, were cancelled.
