Fog clears from Auckland airport

Heavy fog across Auckland, which was affecting flights at the city's airport this morning, has lifted.

An airport spokeswoman earlier said a number of departures had been delayed and arrivals diverted. Several flights had also been cancelled.

Passengers should check with their airlines for information on flights, which were now getting back to normal.
