Air New Zealand says it expect its operations to be back to normal by the end of the day after morning fog caused disruption at Auckland airport.
Air NZ was among airlines affected the fog, which lifted by late morning.
It had to divert seven flights, five of them domestic, and cancel six domestic flights.
"We're just dealing with the backlog now," a spokeswoman said at noon. "Hopefully it won't take long at all."
Auckland airport spokeswoman Carolyn Gibson said the fog caused particular disruption for airlines operating at the domestic terminal, although a Thai Airways flight also had to be diverted.
