Focus: Man who went blind waiting for DHB care hopes to help others in similar circumstnaces


Over a five and half month period Allan Darlow's eyesight was deteriorating rapidly. In that time he had seen his doctor and optometrist at least five times before he was able to get an appointment with a DHB ophthalmologist - by which time he was "essentially blind."
