KEY POINTS:
Scores of air passengers had their travel plans disrupted this morning when a thick blanket of fog briefly covered Christchurch International Airport.
About nine domestic flights were affected, but no international services were disrupted.
An airport spokeswoman said the fog rolled in about 7.35am, affecting arrivals from Wellington and Hokitika, and one departure to Wellington was cancelled.
The fog cleared by 8.15am.
