Fletcher Construction has been confirmed as earthquake project manager to repair 50,000 quake-damaged homes in Canterbury.
The company has won the Earthquake Commission tenders to manage building repairs valued between $10 and $100,000.
EQC says the project management approach allows it to swiftly deliver a high standard of repairs while controlling costs.
Earthquake recovery minister Gerry Brownlee says Fletchers has promised staff will be on the ground from Monday.
