Wellington people who are in the right place at the right time this weekend will get to see a flash mob dance in the lead up to the city's Diwali celebrations.
Tawa woman Parita Bose, who is helping to organise the Wellington Diwali festival, runs the Shivam Dance Academy NZ, where she teaches Kathak and Bollywood dance training.
Kathak is one of the 10 major forms of classical Indian dance, and Bose tries to incorporate fusion, contemporary and tap styles into it.
Bose said her dance students would be creating a flash mob at the Saturday market outside Burger King at 6pm, and another at 1.20pm on Sunday outside the TSB arena.
