Flaming gel recalled

Nu-reZ Flaming Gel has been recalled after the product exploded, causing serious burns.

The gel - sold with garden art, stone or ceramic bowls (fire pots) - has been marketed by some outlets as a citronella product but has been used for creating a flame in garden art.

The gel is sold at gardening and hardware outlets.

Consumers who have bought the product are advised to call Nu-reZ on 0800 786-635 to arrange a refund.
