Four directors of failed finance company group Five Star were further remanded when they reappeared in the Auckland District Court yesterday.
Marcus MacDonald, Anthony Bowden, Nicholas Kirk and Neill Williams face charges under the Securities Act and the Financial Reporting Act.
MacDonald, Bowden and Kirk will be back in court on March 8 for a defended hearing on numerous breaches of the Securities Act.
Then all four will appear on April 27 for a callover on charges relating to false and misleading statements contained in investment statements and the September 2006 registered prospectus.
Five Star Consumer Finance Ltd was put into receivership in August 2007.
