A five legged calf has ended up on Trade Me for the second time, after an unhappy husband put an end to his wife's first winning bid.
The calf, which has an extra leg on its neck, was put on Trade Me by Reporoa dairy farm manager Jonathan King at a reserve of $60.
But the first leading bid of $305 was removed after the bidder's husband called Mr King to say his wife had gone a "bit ape".
The listing now has the message "wives please ask for your husband's permission before bidding".
The new listing was currently going for $102, but Mr King told the Waikato Times he was doubtful it would match the $305 it reached in the first auction.
"I just hope the top bidder actually pays for it this time," Mr King said.
The auction closes on January 23.
