Five people suffered minor injuries in a head-on crash in the eastern Bay of Plenty this morning.
Northern Fire Communications shift manager Carren Larking said the accident happened just prior to 8am, near State Highway 2 on Maketu Rd.
No one was trapped, but five people had minor injuries. They were attended to by paramedics.
The road is now clear.
