Five hurt after bus, mini van collide

Five people were taken to hospital after a collision between a bus and a mini van in Wellington this morning.

The bus was following the mini van when the two vehicles collided on Evans Bay Parade about 11.35am, police central communications Inspector Ian Harris said.

Five people were taken to Wellington Hospital with moderate to minor injuries, he said.

Mr Harris said it was not clear if the bus was a public or private vehicle, but 12 to 15 people were aboard at the time of the crash.
