The couple, who have six children, hope to reach $1 million before entries close on Sunday.
A $25 ticket buys a set of six Waipa District photographs and one chance to win their property valued at over $1 million.
More than 87,000 people have so far visited the website, the majority from Auckland.
Mr Smith said the money would be given to Bridges Church, where he is a pastor.
"We will not personally profit from this sales campaign and will not keep any of the money raised over and above that which is required to cover campaign expenses," he said.
