Three men and a woman charged with murdering Featherston man Glen Jones in his home in January, and another woman charged only with aggravated burglary, appeared again in Masterton District Court yesterday.
Matthew McKinney, 28, Hayden Ranson, 27, Kristofer Lee Jones, 23, and Tariana Jones were all remanded to a call-over on June 7 without plea. The four are charged with murder and aggravated burglary.
Toni Miller, 22, appeared charged only with aggravated burglary and was likewise remanded until June 7. She will appear in Wellington District Court but the others will be called again in Masterton court, although only Tariana Jones will need to appear in person. The attendance of McKinney, Ranson and Kristofer Jones - who are in custody - was excused for that day.
Wellington barrister Mike Antunovich appeared yesterday for McKinney and, on instructions from other counsel, for Ranson and Kristofer Jones.
Jock Blathwayt appeared for Tariana Jones, who is on bail with a curfew, and Louise Elder appeared for Miller, who is also on bail with a curfew condition.
