Fishery officers seize illegal paua haul

Fishery officers busted a paua poaching operation on Wellington's south coast at the weekend, netting 80kg of paua worth $8000 on the black market.

Poachers face a maximum fine of $250,000 or up to five years' imprisonment if convicted.
