First win of season for Carterton

Harcourts and Sports Arena Carterton were comfortable winners of the two Wairarapa premier one netball matches played at the Colombo road courts on Saturday.
For Sports Arena Carterton it was their first win of the season after earlier drawing with Gladstone All Blacks and losing to Kuranui College and their dominance through most of the court in their encounter with defending champions St Matthew's Collegiate was evidenced by the 35-15 scoreline.
Harcourts started hot favourites against Wairarapa College A and lived up to their reputation as the team to beat in premier one play this season, winning by 56-12.
