Ten more containers were removed from the Rena yesterday, the first day containers removed since the vessel split in two.
Maritime New Zealand said this morning there has been no change in the status of the vessel, which broke in half on January 7.
Container removal will continue today, while milk powder will be removed from the vessel by helicopter and divers will continue to assess the state of the ship.
While there is good weather and sea conditions, dive conditions remain difficult and subject to change as sea conditions alter.
Maritime New Zealand will be sending teams to collect plywood which has reportedly washed up on Waihi Beach.
