A fire investigator will look into the cause of a fire at ASB Bank in Hāwera’s main street.
Police notified Fire and Emergency New Zealand (Fenz) of the fire at 9.15am on Sunday and fire crews from around Taranaki were called as it went to a third alarm.
A Fenz spokesperson said the building on High St was “well involved” when firefighters arrived.
Eight fire appliances were involved including from New Plymouth, Eltham, Stratford, and Manaia.
