Firefighters are at the scene of a blaze at a suburban house.
The fire at the house in Coniston Avenue in Te Atatu, West Auckland, was reported just before 1pm.
The fire at the roughly 100 square metre house was well involved by the time five fire engines arrived.
Fire Northern Communications shift manager Steve Smith said firefighters were still "dampening down" the blaze at about 1.45pm.
Mr Smith said there were no reports of injuries, or of anybody trapped in the house, which was on a street just off Te Atatu Rd.
