Firefighters battled a “well-involved” house fire in Blockhouse Bay, Auckland, for about three hours.
After reports of the fire at 4.30pm, Fire and Emergency NZ rushed to the scene on Bolton St to find the fire was quickly consuming a residential property and was “well-involved”.
Smoke could be seen pouring from the home.
It took fire crews three hours and four fire trucks to extinguish the blaze in the 20-metre by 50-metre property, a spokesperson said.
