Firefighters are battling a large house fire north of Auckland this evening.
Emergency services were called to the property at the end of Whangaparaoa Rd, near Army Bay on the Whangaparaoa Peninsula, at 8.07pm, a Fire Service spokeswoman said.
One person was being treated by ambulance paramedics at the scene with minor burns and chest pains.
Three fire trucks were on the scene as of 8.40pm with a tanker en route.
