A fire broke out at a chicken shed south of Auckland this morning but it is not known whether any birds were inside.
Firefighters were called to the blaze on Glenbrook-Waiuku Rd in Glenbrook, near Waiuku, about 1.40am.
A northern fire communications spokeswoman said firefighters at the scene did not say whether any chickens were inside the 150m by 40m shed.
Nobody was injured in the fire.
The blaze was brought under control by firefighters from three fire trucks.
