At least one firefighter has been treated for heat exhaustion after battling a property blaze in the central North Island.
Emergency services were alerted to the blaze on Kepa Rd in Turangi at 1.30pm, and "it was well involved when we got there," said Fire Service northern communications shift manager Megan Ruru.
One other person was treated for smoke inhalation, she said.
A fire investigator was at the property.
