A West Coast meatworks employee went on a rampage at work after being told he was being laid off.
The 20-year-old CMP Kokiri employee threatening his workmates with a knife and slashed tyres on a vehicle after being told he was being made redundant yesterday, police said.
A Dobson manhas been been charged with threatening to kill or cause grievous bodily harm and wilful damage.
