Firefighters are dampening down hot spots after a fire at a fibreglass factory in Dunedin this afternoon.
Four fire appliances were called to the blaze at the Otago Harbourside Development Industrial Park in Ravensbourne Rd about 3.40pm, southern fire communications shift manager Andrew Norris said.
The fire had been "well involved" but was contained within the hour, he said.
One person was treated for possible smoke inhalation.
Mr Norris said State Highway 88, the main road from Dunedin to Port Chalmers, was closed for about an hour due to smoke and fire hoses on the road.
