Fire on Auckland's Dominion Rd

The fire department is currently attending a building fire on Auckland's Dominion Road.

A fire spokeswoman said she believed the fire was under control but fire trucks are still at the two-storey commercial building, near the intersection with Valley Road in Mt Eden.

An ambulance spokeswoman said seven people had been affected but only one person had required treatment. Ambulance staff were still at the scene but it was unlikely the injured person would need to be taken to hospital.
