Firefighters have put out a switchboard fire at Wellington Airport after reports of a fire in the northern terminal.
They were called to the scene shortly after 11am after a number of alarm activations, and soon found a small fire in a switchboard, a Fire and Emergency shift manager said.
Firefighters have extinguished the fire and have been stood down.
Police were also called to the scene about 11.10am.
