A fire has broken out in a building at an army SAS compound in Auckland today.
Fire crews were called to the Grove Road address in Papakura about 10.45am, northern fire communications shift manager Jarron Philips said.
The blaze was in a two-storey 50m by 10m storage and training building.
Five crews were at the scene and the blaze was beginning to "scale down", Mr Philips said.
It was not known if the blaze was suspicious.
"We have alerted a specialist fire investigator, but there's nothing to suggest it's suspicious."
There were no injuries reported, he said.
