A fire which destroyed a home in Whangaparaoa, north of Auckland last night, is being treated as suspicious.
The house was well alight when emergency services arrived at the property on Tiri Rd in Little Manly just before nine o'clock. A woman who was in the house escaped without injury.
Fire Safety officers are due back at the scene at 8.30am.
