Fire crews are working to extricate a person after a two-car crash in South Auckland this morning.

Fire and Emergency New Zealand responded to reports of the crash at the intersection of Redoubt Rd and Murphy's Rd in Totara Park at 7.55am.

Auckland Transport said the crash was causing delays for traffic in the area.
