Fire crews battle blaze at Auckland school

Fire crews battled a suspicious blaze at an Auckland primary school this morning.

Five fire trucks and crews with breathing apparatus attended a fire at Green Bay Primary School in West Auckland around 4.30am, where a classroom was on fire.

Fire and Emergency said the classroom was well involved in fire on arrival.

The incident was being treated as suspicious.

The blaze has been referred to a fire investigator and police.
