KEY POINTS:
An early morning fire at an Auckland carwrecker's yard burned out more than 50 vehicles, firefighters said today.
However, there were no injuries and no damage to buildings.
The Fire Service were called out at 12.15am to the Broken Car Company in Onehunga.
Eight appliances attended the incident and firefighters took three hours to bring the flames under control.
Fire Service spokesman Scott Osmond said 54 cars and a truck were left burned out.
He said the cause of the fire was not known and fire safety officers would be at the scene today.
