A fire that blazed through a vacant house in Auckland last night is being treated as suspicious.
Fire northern communications spokesman Jaron Phillips said three fire trucks attended the scene on Solo Pl, in Manurewa, about 2.30am this morning.
"The house was well alight when the first firefighters arrived," he
said. The fire had since been contained.
Mr Phillips said the fire was being treated as suspicious, and there was currently a scene guard at the property.
A specialist fire investigator would return to the scene this morning, he said.
