Fire at old Petone Bowling Club

A fire at Petone's old bowling club will be investigated today after one of the outbuildings was gutted last night.

Police communications Sergeant Mark Oliver said a Lower Hutt police patrol spotted flames around 1.40am.

The Jackson Street club had not been used for about 12 months and no injuries were reported.
