Anzac Day weather predictions for Wairarapa are looking good with sunny skies and a high of 21C.
MetService meteorologist John Law said the whole of the region, from Eketahuna to South Wairarapa, should expect temperatures in the high teens and low 20s.
"The dawn service looks like it will be fine."
He said northeasterly winds will pick up as the day goes on and will be fresh in exposed places, coastal northeasterlies may be a bit cooler but it looks like a good Saturday all round.
A few showers are predicted for today and tomorrow but the weather will get progressively better as the weekend approaches.
