Toi Toi Manawa was founded by Thoje Hood in 2012. Initially it funded and operated programmes in the Canterbury region, particular the IGNITE youth programme. Since then, after Hood and his family moved to Tauranga in 2013, it has become dedicated to funding social enterprises which are inspiring, engaging and beneficial for communities all around.
