KEY POINTS:
Millionaire New Zealand businessman Ballu Khan was last night re-arrested by Fiji police, hours after the country's High Court ordered him freed.
He was being held on suspicion of being part of a plot to kill the country's coup leader, Commodore Frank Bainimarama.
Mr Khan was one of 17 people arrested in connection to the alleged plot, was badly beaten during his November 3 arrest and was in a Suva hospital under police guard.
After yesterday's court ruling, he returned home with his New Zealand lawyer, Peter Williams, QC. Mr Khan looked frail as he left hospital, and Mr Williams said he was still a sick man.
