KEY POINTS:
A fifth person was in court this afternoon charged with kidnapping six-year-old Hamilton boy Jayden Headley.
The 36-year-old woman, who was granted interim name suppression, appeared in Hamilton District court facing one count of kidnapping.
She was released on bail to reappear on April 24.
Jayden's mother Kay Skelton, his grandfather Dick Headley, and a couple Jeremy Daly and Tania Thomasen from Matauri Bay in Northland, have already been charged with kidnapping Jayden.
The woman was arrested and charged this morning.
Police have not ruled out further arrests in the case.
Jayden, who was at the centre of a bitter custody battle between his parents, was taken last August from Hamilton Public Library.
He was missing for five months before being returned to Hamilton Police Station in January.
He is now in the custody of his father Chris Jones who is estranged from Jayden's mother.
