A fifth person has been arrested in the investigation into the assault of a 19-year-old woman who was found unconscious and dumped on the side of a road in Dome Valley last week.
A 33-year-old male has been charged with kidnapping and has appeared in the North Shore District Court.
Police are not ruling out the possibility of further arrests as the enquiry unfolds.
The victim, who was found unconscious on the side of a road in Dome Valley on May 9, remains in Auckland Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
