These are the first official pictures of the Fiat 500 Abarth, a high performance version of the 500 city car.
It will make its debut at the Geneva Motorshow in March.
Powered by a Fire 1.4 16-valve turbo petrol engine, it produces a shade over 100 kilowatts with peak torque of 206 Nm at 3,000rpm in 'Sport' mode, whilst in 'Normal' mode maximum torque is reduced to 178Nm ft at 2,500rpm.
The lightweight 500 Abarth has been designed with improved aerodynamics.
Its interior features an analogue turbo boost gauge and an LED shift light for optimal timing of gear changes.
