The Ministry of Justice has revealed that two of five prisoners who have had only seven visits between them in the past year are Wiremu Curtis and Lisa Kuka, both jailed over the death of abused toddler Nia Glassie.
The others are murderers Mark Lundy, Graeme Burton and Stephen Hudson. Curtis, 18, was jailed for life in February 2009 for the murder of 3-year-old Nia.
Kuka, Nia's 25-year-old mother and Curtis' partner, was jailed for nine years for manslaughter.
