A 78-year-old man has been flown to Wellington Hospital with serious injuries after he fell off a ladder in Featherston yesterday.
Featherston fire chief Colin McKenna believed the man was from Wellington and said he had "injured himself quite seriously" while doing a job for his daughter.
Firefighters were called to Johnston St, in Featherston, just after 12pm to arrange a landing site for the helicopter.
