A Featherston plumber who allegedly made threats with a firearm is facing two new charges.
In Masterton District Court on Monday, Dane Johnathan Dickson, 23, appeared on new charges of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and committing burglary with a weapon, jointly with his brother Caleb.
Police allege both brothers were involved in a confrontation at a Carterton house on January 13 over a post on social media.
During the confrontation, one of the residents received a cut to his arm, but no shots were fired.
The armed offenders squad was not called out, but reinforcements from the Hutt were deployed.
