Free family-friendly swimming nights are being held in Featherston and Greytown this week.
"We're taking a punt on these being warm summer evenings," said Mark Allingham, group manager of infrastructure services, South Wairarapa District Council.
"We're going to take Martinborough's inflatable slide to Featherston and Greytown those nights, so this will give people a chance to try it out.
"We're hoping to see lots of families bring picnics and spend the evening at the pool."
Last Friday, residents and visitors enjoyed a free Family Swim Night at Martinborough Pool. The council's pools normally close at 5.30pm, but the free swimming nights run from 6pm to 9pm.
