South Canterbury police are worried about the safety of a Waimate woman missing overnight in icy temperatures.
Leanne Hannah Van Royen, 48, disappeared from a farm on Jackson Bush Rd about 9pm, police said.
Constable Ryan O'Rourke, of Timaru police, said the weather in the area overnight was poor, with rain, snow and cold temperatures, and police were concerned for Ms Van Royen's safety.
Described as a thin Caucasian, 152cm tall, Ms Van Royen has dark auburn curly shoulder-length hair. She was last seen wearing a long green bush shirt.
