Christchurch Police are concerned for the well-being of a 29-year-old diabetic woman missing in the Hillmorton area.
Egyptian-born Gina Nashaat Wasili was last seen at Sylvan Street 4.30pm yesterday.
Sergeant Tony Tully said Police Search and Rescue and LandSAR launched a search last night with dogs and field teams but have not found anything to date.
As she is diabetic and insulin dependent, police say she may be disorientated and confused.
She was last seen wearing blue jeans, black jacket and slippers. Gina is 166 centimetres tall, of slim build with long black hair.
