Fears for missing 15-year-old boy

Police are concerned a 15-year-old boy missing from Waihi for the past 12 days could be "extremely vulnerable" on his own.

Horace Hone Rolleston was last seen on Victoria St in central Hamilton on March 13. Detective Simone Everson, of Waihi Police CIB, said Horace was reported missing by his concerned father.

Horace had told associates he was staying with an older couple somewhere in Hamilton and that he may head up to Auckland.

"We hold concerns for Horace's well-being because as far as anyone knows he doesn't know anyone in Hamilton and has no source of income so is assessed as being extremely vulnerable," Ms Everson said.

Anyone who may have seen Horace Rolleston or has information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Mr Everson at the Waihi Police Station on (07) 863 8179.
